Bought a DU-NTSC Detroit Underground Eurorack video module

Heh so here I am …bought this nerdy video module from Detroit Underground

It‘s my first eurorack module… I guess now I am doomed to spend an infinite amount of money for more modules :sob:

I suppose first thing I need is a MIDI to CV module to use this with my elektron gear, right? Mutable industries has one …but it‘s pretty expensive. Any suggestions on what to buy to make proper use of this module?

I got the OT, DT and DN …so no CV outs

Luckily there isn’t a whole lot of video modules available, so the Eurorack hole isn’t so deep in that area

I rather dig this Detroit underground video module. Shame it looks like they are sold out.

as for MIDI-CV there is Endorphin.es Shuttle Control that takes USB MIDI and has patches and web editor.
It can be a bit overkill…

I think I will buy the KOMA Field Kit and the CV.OCD just because of the price tag to get started.

Not eurorack though. But actually this might be a good thing because it saves me an infinite amount of money for more modular gear (for now) :money_mouth_face:

they will probably make a new batch… was lucky enough to get the last one available.
