Depends on your routing and settings. If you’re amplifying track output with a different routing, with different levels from Inputs monitoring it seems normal it doesn’t match.
Is there a routing option to be able to resample through external fx without feedback?
Thank you. I did see that, but I guess I should explain my use case–
1- Capture loops as I play them on my synth/sampler.
2- Process the recorded loops, one by one through external fx and record them back into the 505 while preserving the delay tails from the external fx.
3- If I want to preserve the delay tails from the external fx, does that mean I have to extend the amount of measures to the track that I’m recording too, or do I have to extend the measures of the track where the loop is originating from, or both? Not sure if that makes sense lol
Also, does anyone know if Aeros allows for resampling though external fx without feedback?
Fx tails in the processed loop ?
Or record them in a “silent part” ?
In a loop I’d play og track before recording in order to have tails after a loop pass.
Does anyone know how to get the input monitored in headphones only? that way i can find a sequence, record a loop on headphones and bring it in to the main mix when i’m happy
Hey, does anyone know if I can use the boss rc505 mk2 as backing track,. I’ve been using octatrack mk1 in a long time with my band, but it’s starting doing some strange stuff, and I don’t won’t it to die,. So thinking on getting a boss rc 505 to play with but also need it to be backing track for my band, is it possible to import long wave files on it, have a custom made click track and backing track and make them play as a one shot?
The BOSS RC-505mkII uses the WAV format (specifically 44.1 kHz, 32-bit floating point, stereo). Fun fact: You can also create backing tracks live with a 505 with a multitude of FX options.
Very long backing tracks theoretically possible, direct jump between loops, or one shots…load samples in corresponding folders (USB DATA STORAGE mode)
In this messy video, loops are perfectly synced before OT destruction. (Wanted to mimic Timetosser)
I’m ashamed to admit that I’ve never tried the OG Digitakt Slice machine. Need to change that.
I never sampled on my Digitakt! Just used it for sequencing.
Sorry for off topic. In above video I didn’t use slices but 8 recorders recording small audio length, in order to re-order them with arp !
My brain was working better at that time.
I bought a RC505 MKII again and have to experiment some stuff after summer…
Main reason why I bought it again (I’ve been beta tester without DT so I borrowed my ex DT :). Then bought another one.
Faster setup than OT !
Hey,. You can’t record tracks simultaneously?
Ore is it just me that can’t figure this out?
No unfortunately!
