Hi all I was redirected to this forum from another post by a user who has a similar problem with their dr 670.

All the test modes check out good, battery good, but if you try start a pattern or play a sound, the machine reboots and plays no sound - can slightly hear the attack portion very quietly and then reboots again.

All the other buttons and lcd are perfect.

I was wondering if someone has seen this fault or could please help me any other way to get it booted properly please?

I have access to tools … scope , meter , iron, desoldering

This is just pure speculation/troubleshooting but it sounds like the issue may be physical if button presses make it happen. I’d start with checking the PSU itself and then the PSU input itself and its solder joints.

Also see if the internal board is mounted properly because if it flexes that can damage traces as well.
