I’ve got a few synths (most immediately my Skulpt) that I want to swap the knobs on. Anyone have suggestions for where to get stuff within Europe?
Alternately, as it sounds like Schengen options are pretty limited, best US sources?
Weirdly, I’ve just been through this myself! DV247 has a lot of the DJ Tech Tools Chroma Caps. Asides from that… Not much I could find in UK.
But in the end, it was cheaper to just order from the US… Even with postage and import tax, it’s still considerably cheaper.

Hard not to see the thread title and respond “the UK - the population is a minimum of 52% knob” but Thonk is my actual suggestion too. I can’t think what the dimensions of the Skulpt pots are but I’m sure Thonk would have options that work with it.

What are your US sources? Since Thonk isn’t Schengen, it’ll be faster to order from the US anyway :-/

I wanted coloured encoders for my Digitakt, so there weren’t many places I could find the right thing. I ordered direct from DJTechTools in US, they have a super helpful customer service online chat if you need help figuring out which knobs to get. You can also try CoolorCaps but they’re a little more expensive.

It definitely won’t.
Ignore the media hype, you can still buy stuff from the UK if you’re in the EU, you’ll just have to pay customs/taxes at your end (customs usually around 2% or less for electronics and carrier fees pretty negligible in my experience), just as you would if you were buying from the US.

I’ve been buying stuff from Germany and it’s been pretty quick and easy.
Thanks, but I’m very familiar with what the delays look like between the UK and Finland right now, and my US orders have been reliably arriving 2-3 weeks faster than those from the UK.
