This thread made me look into what recordings/videos, I’ve done in 2025 for my own project and it hasn’t been a lot.

I really need to reserve some time for recording, making videos and playing live shows next year.

I think my favourite video is this track from February.

I don’t have the pulsar anymore, loved playing with it but unfortunately it was a luxury item that I couldn’t afford to have and I sold it to a very nice guy locally.
The rest of the guys are all save and going nowhere.

Thank you so much! :blue_heart: :space_invader:

I’m really proud of this one. DII is a machine I still haven’t even scratch the surface, so I’m trying to stay focused on just this one and get the most out of it. I’ve been enjoying recording sounds, re-recording them, swapping samples, and seeing how they behave across different parameters.

I was really just warming up this year with my best polished track being an arrangement of Closer. But since that’s not the topic here’s my best original for what it’s worth lol

Here’s my variation/arrangement of Closer for the curious

Wow, so much great music in this thread! An annual Elektronauts compilation would really be a cool project

For those of you who want to go deeper on what you’ve made this year and what that says about you as an artist in 2025, you might enjoy posting here:

My favorite thing I released this year was this collection of recordings testing out a Rev2, looping with HX Stomp.
Genre-wise I think of it as dungeon synth-adjacent ambient.

This is really lovely work @Bartizanier

Here is dirty house track I did this year.

Also, I produced this synthwave track for my kid who is a UMG artist. Production process was, she had some lyrics, a rough vocal track and an idea that she wanted a retro-future sound kind of like The Weeknd and I took it from there to do all the music and production. It was released on Halloween which was kind of fun.

EDIT: Sorry, I just saw the ā€œone trackā€ rule in the OP. I hope my post is okay since one track is my own in its entirety and the second one I produced for an artist and her label. I’m proud of them for slightly different reasons, one for being my own track and the other for doing all the music/production and making the artist and her label happy.

My music changed and evolved quote a bit this year (published and not) but this track from last February still gives me the warm fuzzies every time I listen

Last year has seen me with a huge load of work in my day job, long running projects had to be finished. So my music endeavors had to step back for a while.
Nevertheless, I had one track released in July on a Petite Victory Collective’s compilation which sort of marks my current musical creations: Housey, lo-fi-ish, moody.
Looking forward to what 2026 will bring .

This year I started a solo project that’s kind of a goth/metal thing? I’ve only played in bands before so it was really interesting tackling everything myself. This song had a long evolution - I first wrote it in a hotel room in Detroit on my Circuit Tracks and I’d been playing with different versions of it for a year and a half. Forced myself to get it done in time for Devil’s Night (Oct 30th for those outside the D).

(wasn’t gonna post self-promotey stuff since I’m new here, but @Azzarole threw some shade about how much attention the gear thread is getting instead of the music thread, so here ya go  )

Hi, this is saudade, album by my band viah that we released earlier this year. We used DT1, ST, microfreak, minilogue and arp odyssey. Thanks for listening!

I had a pretty productive year, was really able to get back into the swing of things creatively. Experimented with lots of new things and worked in a lot of genres I’d never tried before. I was in complete workflow bliss with the DT2/DN2/Overbridge combo. Kinda muddied the water a bit with TV, but the newest update has it stable enough to join the crew, can’t wait for the Overbridge update. Hard to choose 1 track because my output has been all over the place stylistically, but I’ll post this one

Pure DT2 for this track

My year was pretty productive
In February, I participated in this year’s FAWM this inspired me very much
Then in August, I got my first hardware groovebox and really got into making electronic music which I have done on my iPad before, but only sometimes
In the beginning of December, I then got the deluge which really helped me in my production and now I have the feeling of having the perfect set up
For me, it’s hard to decide which song is the best, but I really love this ambient track I created recently

Depends on what you use to define ā€œbestā€ (number of clicks, what’s your personal favorite(?)).

I think for me it’s probably SIRIUS:
