Yeah it came down to Rytm or another OT. Decided on the Rytm mostly to try a new machine.

I love the Rytm too, my fave Elektron box.

OT & Rytm is my favourite Elektron combo. Drums and some basslines from Rytm. Samples, fx & mixing from OT. Plus another 1-2 sources in the other 2 OT inputs for a compact and powerful setup.

That’s my regular combo and it works great (not that I get anywhere near the most from it). A setup I’ve seen a lot of live acts using too. I pair mine with a small(ish) Eurorack setup for my synth voices and it makes for a really diverse, powerful and fairly compact setup.
I’ve even been tempted to pick up a MK1 OT so the pair sit together better but I think I’d miss all the extra buttons
