So I am trying to figure out the best approach to MIDI clock and sync my OT with my Access Virus TI2 and new Jomox Alphabase MK2. I tested the Jomox MIDI with Virus and got that working fine with Jomox AB as master clock. What would be the best master clock setup with all three pieces of gear?
OT master clock is best if you want to sample your other gear and get perfectly quantised loops.

MIDI OUT (OT)-> MIDI IN (Jomox AB)-> MIDI IN (Virus TI2)
I also need to check the MIDI channel settings on my OT, Virus and Jomox. Probably figure it out this weekend as time permits. This is great setup once sorted as can sample Virus, Jomox and modular to the OT.
Yes.
Top tip. In midi settings turn direct controll OFF.
Read up on auto channel, this can make life easier, but might not apply on your case.
Midi sync is actually pretty simple and painless.

thanks! I will need to test, document and create an updated video on how to get it working. My last MIDI OT video was quite popular. I think these three go so well together. Then I can feed modulars into OT as well.
Had mixed results getting MIDI sync with OT, Jomox AB MK2 and Virus TI2. I did check the settings on all three pieces of gear. I think that for now will just use my Virus by itself and Jomox as well. I read that Jomox can be finicky with MIDI sync. Same with Virus. Anyways, I can also research using Ableton Live as a clock to all three pieces of gear. For now the quick way is to record each synth separate and quantize in Ableton.
