Behringer TD-3 MO (Modded Out)

Very good, but with a decksaver is better, I think

Hm - I think, I have to to run a test drive :grinning:
Can you play the sequence backwards or ping-pong (like on some OS)?

Cheers

No, just forward afaik .

For anyone still not comfortable with the 303 sequencer, this quick tutorial is great - it’s an excellent sequencer once you get it, and so much better than trying to sequence it externally, which never really captures the vibe properly in my experience.

I am ultra happy that you can copy patterns.

Nevertheless: the absence of visual feedback in time mode is really painful for me. That’s a feature on the RE-303 with the Sonic Potions CPU - which unfortunately is out of production. With the current PIXIE CPU-option it’s the same as the TB-303 / TD-3 :grimacing:

Any comparison proof or technical explanation ?
Can’t it be psychological, feeling better after an headache ? :content:

The separation of pitch and time isn’t easily replicable on most other sequencers (certainly none I own in hardware) and the interaction of those plus the accents is the 303 feel for me. I really like the 303 sequencer, personally.

Observed the same. Very clicky - across the entire parameter range.
(Don’t have this issue with my RE-303 and two X0XB0Xes).
Did not observe any hisses at the end.

Will return my unit.

Hi! I’ve just got a TD-3-MO after owning a TD-3 for quite some time. And I have to admit, I love both the light and the dark side of the Acid Force  Excellent machine, so much fun, so much sound exploration. But there is one thing I can’t figure out.

I sequence both machines with my OG Digitakt. With my TD-3 programing slides works just fine - you just have to enter a longer note length value so it overlaps with the next note and voilla, you have the signature acid slide. But with the TD-3-MO the effect is very anemic or even non-existent. I’ve also noticed that notes have to be accented to hear any change, without accents there is no slide and sometimes the last note is even muted.

Both units are on latest firmware, and both are set up the same way in the Synthtribe app: note priority is ā€œlastā€ and ā€œSlide Modeā€ is on.

So what am I doing wrong here? I’ve tried to tweak the slide time mod but it does not seem to affect this at all.

Did you try to tweak the sound in general? Do you have enough decay time for example?

If you’re thinking,ā€œwhat could a TD-3 MO possibly give you the TD-3 can’t?ā€:
