If you can run it through the Pro800 and tell me what it sounds like, I might yet sort out the fine controls via MH (without having to buy the synth).
Have you tried using the DN → Pro800 using just “coarse” CCs, btw?

Found some spare time to check.
If I use CC#15 on DN2 – instead of CC#87 – now I’m able to sweep full VCF range on PRO800
