According to the comments this is around 5000 € just for the Behringer modules.
The list :
15x 1004 oscillators
6x 1047 multimode filters (2 poles)
6x 1003/1033 EG
6x 1006 LP filters (4 poles) + VCA
4x 1018 noise sources
4x 1036 dual S&H
7x 1005 ring modulators + VCA
5x 1050 mixers/sequencers
4x 1027 sequencers
About the oscillators : (two squares of 4, a line of 6 and a single one on the bottom left corner, out of frame, which i use as an extra clock source for the sequencers).
I think another way to approach this would be to look at a 2500 setup that Éliane Radigue would use. Adding the tape part would probably be included with that too.
Id probably go with
3 x oscillators
1 x 1047 filter
1/2 x 1003, 1033 env
2x 1006 filtamp
1x 1018 noise random source
1x 1036 dual S&H
2x 1005 modamp
2x 1050 mix sequencer
I couldn’t find a 1018, so I assume that’s actually a 1016.
As I was building the list, it occurred to me that it might be possible to achieve something similar with a Virus (or maybe a Blofeld or three) and an Octatrack. Of course, the Virus isn’t nearly as flexible as patchable modules, but it still may be possible to achieve the Radigue sound. This may be a rare case where the Euro solution is actually comparable or even a little less expensive than with MIDI gear.
You get a lot for that money – 57 modules. Right around $55 per module average. Beside case & ps you’d want MIDI to CV, and perhaps audio interface stuff, patch cables, and whatever effects.
Same guy Lnefpd did a more recent video, where he combines the same 2500 system ( as far as i can tell ) with a 2600. ( Plus : Effect pedals : Source Audio Collider, Old Blood Noise Endeavors Dark Light )
I think a more straight forward way to approach this would be to emulate some arrangement of the Behringer 2500 system with a VCV rack, or use the VCV modules in the 4ms MetaModule. ( post ) Given the size of the system done by Lnefpd, it may take two or more MetaModules and some experimentation to find suitable substitutions for the 2500 modules.
But even with multiple MetaModules this approach would most probably be less expensive, would fit in a portable system like a Cre8audio NiftyKEYZ ( with a keyboard attached ), and be able to change patches at the push of a button, as well as do very different Eurorack arrangements as well. It would lack the full out interactive controls though.
This looks like a ARP 2500 but it’s not. Based on different modules. But operation would be similar. More info from Analogue Solutions.
Fresh out today, Oct 5th, at Synthfest UK. Video from show. Very expensive.
Perhaps some sort of pin matrix could be used with the Behringer modules. ADDED : Notice how this is a pin matrix and not pin sliders.
