Beardytron 5000 MKII

Possibly the most advanced live audio manipulation setup out there… Just posted on a thread but realized people may not have seen this, worth its own thread…

Edit: I think the second video is better than this article at explaining it…
Articles not as good as I thought…

The line that got me Mike was ‘I can put any genre into it’. Thats very interesting to say the least! Might be worth looking into.

His setup and Tim exile’s setup are very advanced.
Also helps that he can beatbox well and play instruments.

I’ve seen them both live , entertaining and clever.

I’m pretty sure most of the audio comes from his vocal sounds into the mic, and then he warps it into full tracks on the spot. Possibly all of it, I can’t remember, need to read some stuff again…

It’s nothing someone can buy, it’s all highly customized and modified from advanced engineers he works with…

I’ll have to check out Tim exile now, unfamiliar…

I prefer his older stuff when he was just using off the shelf Kaoss pads etc, it seemed that he was squeezing more out of his setup then, that said very talented guy indeed.

Honestly I haven’t even listened to much Beardyman, but he seems like quite a fun guy and I liked what I’ve heard…
I just remember discovering the Beardytron 5000 MKII a few year back, remembered it again today and think it’s quite interesting so wanted to share…

The second video up top is much better at explaining and showing the setup than the article I linked…
