I have had a Battery Low twice on my mki in the 10 years I’ve had it. It’s very easy to pop in a new one and they are about 5 €.
But I wouldn’t expect it to happen on a 3 months old machine.
no, that’s why i’m scared there is physical damage. oh well, i’ve ordered the hex wrench and the batteries so i’ll know for sure in a couple of days…
Probably just a loose connection. Open it up, give the batteries a jiggle, reseat the ribbon cables, power it up.

How important is the ‘Mn’ part of this? It seems alot of CR2450 Li batteries don’t specify that they are ‘Mn’. Is there a reason for this, and/or any consequence of using batteries that are not specified as Mn?
