Not sure if im supposed to ask this questions here but I hope you could help me. I’m having some issues creating bass sounds like the one which is used in this track by Hiro Kone.
Everything I do sounds too bassy with no energy and lacks the color or tone. I can’t explain better. I’m using a Monologue XD for this and processing on Ableton. Also having issues with the processing. Maybe I lack skills on both parts of making the sound.
So my questions would be what source of oscillators and tips would work to make a sound like this and what process would you advice using Ableton.

The kick drum ( both of them) has the most bottom end in the mix. Other bass sounds are sparse, and fit in between the bass drum hits.
The low drone actually isnt that bassy, its more low mids.
Everything else has been low cut heavily, to allow space for the massive kick. It has that very precise software sound, so I would not be surprised if there was some side chain compression going off the kick, but used as a mix tool, rather than an audio effect.
I checked the first track, same story. Its simple mixing and EQing. Make space for the low end.

I was actually referring to the third clip / track. Where theres a drone from start to end.
