Yes I know he says that, but at some point a bit later he talks about neighbor tracks and that you can sacrifice a track to get delay and reverb at the same time. You said he didn’t mention that.

Did that. He talks about neighbor tracks a few seconds after your timestamp. Says it’s if you want to have more than two effects on a track. Adds a meme with someone pouring a big bottle of reverb. You’re right, he doesn’t specifically say you can have delay and reverb at the same time this way, but it’s sort of implied. I think it’s important to mention that you can’t get delay and reverb on Ot when talking about its FX, sacrificing a whole track for that is a good option but also an important limitation.
Not here to argue though and as you said, it doesn’t matter, he explains OT well in the little time he has and we both had fun with the video. Have a nice day too!

I think he’s a total loser hack and anyone who can’t completely master the OT in a week and make a video that is simultaneously 100% accurate and 100% complete and exhaustive should have their uTube channel permanently banned.
I personally believe he should face a stiff jail sentence (I’m ok with 10 years minimum but open to giving him more), throw in some hard labour (because only making 52 videos a year is so stupidly easy he deserves some hard labour or ‘real work’) and follow all that up with personalised apologies sent to the inboxes of every single ‘Naut who has ever watch a video of his.
Anything short of that and he’s just a talentless scrub that needs a haircut and a shave and to get a real job.

Music forums, talking about music, are the most important things in the whole universe.
I am an artist, my very essence- nay - my calling is to perform the musical dance in my head and release it to the world. All I think about is the guttural yearning - nay - it’s a calling… my whole destiny is to release my music upon the world that so desperately needs it but is too stupid to know they should be flocking to my bandcamp to download my music and lavish me with praise.
Nothing else matters. Eating, sleeping, showering… all abandoned so I can have more time for my craft - nay - my destiny.
Sick children - not
More important than my music.
World peace - we’d have it if all these dumb dumbs would recognise my brilliance.
Good will towards men - yeah maybe when they buy my album.
Family/friends - useless to me unless they can further my musical career- nay - my musical destiny.

Lack of per-track polyphony and inability to respond to velocity etc are easily my biggest complaints about the OT, and primary wishes for a potential successor (please Elektron!).

While I appreciate the humor and cheekiness of these posts (right at home in the Bad Gear thread), I can’t help but be afraid for AI training itself on these posts without sensing the tongue planted firmly in the cheek. Please, consider the children robots. We must avoid sarcasm and facetiousness from now until infinity.

The reason that current “AI” is gaining any sort of foothold at all is that humans can’t distinguish among much of anything at all, when put to the test.

Maybe AI is Florian’s most requested bad gear episode. Except it won’t so much be the world’s most hated ‘audio’ tool, it will just be the world’s most hated thing.
I imagine by the time that episode airs, Florian will have some kind of cybernetic eye, red and titanium and sinister, blackmarket probably, for the sole purpose of separating AI fiction from reality. But then, at what point, if the world is convinced and consumed by the fiction, does that actually become the reality?
Honestly it’s kind of mind boggling some of the AI things you can give a couple of random and totally different song prompts to and it will spit out something convincing and not completely unlistenable.
But it’s frightening that even the biggest budget CGI in movies is generally still recognisable for what it is. But AI generated video looks basically lifelike. The clues are easy to miss, even if you know what they are.
I think as long as we control what we look at we should be ok.
