Backup up projects and include samples

Hello,

I’ve had the Digitakt a while now, I’ve been using the Transfer app to backup my projects to my computer, do all the .dtprj files include the samples I used in that particular Project? So I can send these to a friend and all is included in that single file for him to explore when he uploads it to his Digitakt?

Thanks

While I don’t have a Digitakt, the comments in this thread make me think ‘yes’:

That same comment makes me think ‘no’.

The first two comments in the thread above suggest that samples used are stored in the DTPRJ files and, if these are loaded onto a DT that does not have the project-specific samples on the +Drive, will ask the user if they want to load them as well.

Anyways, I have no way of testing this so hopefully someone more knowledgable can pitch in.

Yes, projects include all the samples used in them.

You can prove it for yourself by loading some of the shared projects here

Can confirm the answer is very much yes - you can get the samples from project folders after using Transfer. I had no idea this was the case though when starting that thread (will get round to editing my OP as there’s clearly better/easier ways to go about it, as people commenting made clear)
