Automating Project Setup

Possibly a bit of a non issue but it does take time and I’m sure someone will have found a way to make it easier…

I have 3 Elektron machines (DN/DT/A4) that I setup in the same way for every new project. So create a new project x3, setup midi x3, channels, all the inputs/outputs x3 and so on. Is it possible to run a script on a Mac/PC that you can configure your setup, starting sounds, midi, project names and just have it auto configure the DT/DN/A4 or whatever combo of devices you are using?

Can’t you just create Project Templates in your Elektrons and copy them to another Project slot? You just need to rename them.

I guess I could go to ‘manage projects’ on each machine and ‘save as’ a new project and rename each, but you know how many buttons I’d have to press! :wink: “Hey siri setup my Elektons” is the level of laziness I’m looking at! :rofl:

I passive-aggressively await for Elektron to make a laptop and DAW for DAWless workflows.
