I know back in the day Studiomux was the way to accomplish this, but I seem to be having issues getting it to work on my computer.
Does anyone know of any modern solutions, without requiring any other devices(iConnect)- just a lightening cable?

AFAIK Studiomax and now the iConnectivity products are the most reliable gear to do the job. I use iConnectivity with iOS and PC and it’s like plug&play.
Since Apple products are made to work inside the Apple ecosystem, but the outside seems not to be supported very well, you might need either hardware or a software solution. Maybe there is more in the App store like this …
Yeah, iConnect stuff is pretty reliable as far as that goes. I was hoping to just plug my stuff in and work that way, opposed to multiple boxes.
But if that’s the only option, that’s the only option.
