I need another stereo input into Octatrack but all inputs are taken so how do I do this best?
Should I get 2 x Elektron Audio/CV Split Cable or will a simple solution like 2 x this Cordial spit cable work? I’m already using Elektrons unbalanced cables so that is ok.
Don’t think that will work, they are only meant for splitting signals you need a mixer to combine audio…

Ah ok that was my initial idea too.
Suggestions about the smallest simplest mixer solution would be appreciated.
It would be great if I didn’t need another power supply for this.

This cable is not appropriate, nor recommend, one signal would eat the other one, but I think it’d kind of work, you’d get the 2 signals.
What about the Perform VE aux in ? 
An Elektronaut posted a mini mixer scheme with resistors. Don’t remember who, where.
There are small passive mixers.

I own one of these cables. Let me try tonight and get back to you. I’m guessing they’ll get summed to mono though as the OT’s inputs are both mono pairs.

Does it allow a clean pass through? Would the audio from a synth degrade in any way when combined into a stereo mini jack like this?

I use them to split and to sum the signal - working in both ways. no issues with sound quality
about the cordial I can’t tell you at the moment, somewhere in some cupboard in some box I got a pair of these but imo it should also work.

I have the Monacor too, since 15 years! Possible to find smaller I think.
You can’t use cables to mix audio, no?

Theoretically yes. Your PVE would be already pluggled anyway?
It passes through clean yes but also hard to tell since I had to test with old shitty cables+adapters. I’m a little concerned that there may be some audio degradation but maybe not.
The PVE was previously going into DN > OT but now I want to add a synth to the setup so I’ll have to switch things around. Too bad that M:C does not have audio inputs.
I guess I can just get a small simple mixer for this so I’ll manage but It would be great if it could be static without volume controls and perhaps with a battery since only a bit of amplification is needed.

Maybe these could be a good solution? They are really small and passive so no power supply needed (big plus) and OT has plenty of amplification to it’s inputs.
Only thing is that one is with RCA connectors and the other with stereo jacks…

I have had it on my Thomann wishlist a long time ago but didn’t know that one was passive
