During the sunset the light changes and becomes almost magic. The sunlight have to cross a longer distance to reach our eyes and the colors seem brush strokes from a painting. A delight for the senses that in this time of the year reaches its maximum splendor. This piece requires a paused listening, no hurry. There is no directionality, like if time was freezed in this moment and it didn’t advance towards any place. Is generative music where the composer set the rules, create a system, and the modular synth chooses itself the notes to play, like “Music for airports” from Brian Eno. Ambient music, that is referred in the Wikipedia as the creation of landscapes, and sonic evolving textures that accommodate many levels of listening attention without enforcing one in particular.
