clapping (actually i count thigh slapping and foot stomping in this)
for little brain effort i have my regular job.
music is my hobby and worth moar!
No offense taken. It is quite easy. Pretty much any electronic music is easy given the right toolsā¦ so I donāt think thereās much relation between the quality of the music and the effort of the musician. Sometimes youāll work your ass off and the result is crap, sometimes everything is in the right place and the music flows naturally. That doesnāt mean work is uselessā¦ training is what makes any work easier.
Edit:
Also my recipe for easy-peasy ambient: Take any sound, put it in PaulStretch, repeat until you have 10 tracks, release album.
ā¦ mine is steal @Fin25 ās songs, pitch them up a couple semi-tones, and concentrate on beating back the groupies.
Album being released soon.
Help yourself
You are a gentleman and a scholar.
That sounds like electronic musicians need not have any skill? Only be able to program a device?
Hang on. The OP jumped straight from simple, to lazy.
Modular generative stuff might be considered lazy, but is it simple? No.
Things like Techno might be considered simple, but are they lazy?
The talented artists would no doubt say no, it takes a fuck ton of effort.
It takes effort to be good at anything, even simple things.
Laziness is something else entirely. Cant be arsed developing a skill? Here, follow these youtube tutorials and learn how to make a track from scratch .
Amended
long as we are dropping recipes this one never fails, itās dead simple and majestic
5 parts John Cage 4ā33" techniques, best if layered and panned heavily
1 part 2 note funk, keep it on the one
2 parts hambone, slightly panned to taste
lightly simmer and serve
side benefit is that an AI Generator canāt emulate the result
How rude, Iām sure his mum thinks heās very clever.
Damn!!
Momma 2 Toes gonna limp over and hit me with a switch.
No offence to ambient fans on here, but this seems super easy to create to me! Making it āgoodā, on the other handā¦ well, Iām sure someone will do so eventually.
Just listed all my gear on Reverb, in case anyones interested.
