This is fair, I hadn’t considered the options standpoint. I just frequently wished for 37 keys when playing the microfreak. I do wish they had a desktop model as well. It would be an absolute powerhouse for such a small use of space.
I’d like this Minifreak as a module to control with a sawed-off Microfreak keyboard.
I was always hoping they’d release a standalone captive touch controller…
I’ve definitely considered buying a second one just so I can remove the keyboard.
Best listing of the minifreak yet with high-res pictures:
I’ve created a new thread for the minifreak to better track the feedback on this new synth
Did you ever try the Future Retro one?
I actually had no idea this existed until just now!
My translation was a little rusty, but we did it guys.
It’s live on their website
They talking about the minilab 3 now, they are going to sell 1 million of these
USB c and 5 pin midi out
Arp
Chord mode
And a 5-year warranty as well
Amazing, how did they actually manage to avoid this pitfall
i don´t like these apple high-glossy keynotes, but this is a very symphatic way to show products, and more important, the people behind those products…well done!
and THRU too!
And a MiniFuse 4 now too!
It’s nice to see them outpacing behringer…
stupid question but: do you reckon i’d be able to map those 8 encoders to control track levels on my Octatrack?
edit: i’ve checked the manual and yes, you can edit those sliders and knobs to send whatever CCs you want, so this looks like a pretty cute portable dawless controller
