I have a question on the cryptic sales stuff if anyone can help. I picked up Analog Lab from someone selling a cheap 2nd hand license. I think the original owner won it in a comp, so it’s showing in my account as NFR, which I think means my hope of having that qualify for upgrade pricing might be dashed.

Anywhoo, obviously V Collection is a metric tonne of synth, and in reality I’m mostly interested in diving into 2-3 of them from what I’ve tried so far. They are currently on sale in the 1/2 price summer discount, bringing the price of 3 to about €250. I would also probably buy EFX Fragments as well as I enjoy messing with granular plugins.

I hear the route to a good deal in November is to buy Pigments half price which then gets you V Collection for cheaper than sale price, which this year would be €300. I heard some people even saying they were getting V for about €150 which is considerably less than what it might otherwise be, though I suppose you have to add in the cost of Pigments to that, €99, so around €250 all in.

So could I potentially buy Pigments to get the deal on V Collection at €150, bag all the synths I’m after and more, and then move Pigments on again. Or is there a simpler way? If I grab a cheap effect like EFX, does having a license for something/anything get you the upgrade offers?
