I want to use my minilab mk2 as a MIDI controller for my OT.

Is this possible?

A direct connection from your Minilab to the Octatrack is not possible. You will need a USB Host to MIDI (5-Pin) converter like the KENTON MIDI USB HOST MK2. The Kenton is not the only one out there.

Such a shame they did not put a Midi connexion. For a compact model, it’s a serious drawback to have to invest like 50% of the price and carry another device that needs power, cables, …
