I enjoy and fear deep learning algorithms in equal measure.
However I would like to be able to communicate with an AI chat bot that, based on our interaction or just automatically, would be able to suggest i make a certain type of music, using a detailed description to inspire and challenge me.
This could be either by theory/gear approach, genre labelling or an emotive description, ideally a mixture of all of that.
“Make a 3 minute Detroit-Gregorian Chant 5-Step club banger with a beatless intro and 2 note bassline. Use upto 3 machines and record in one take through your master bus. Use at least one sample of an elephants mating call and utilise 3 key changes including a diminished Cminor7th. Transport the listener from angry to mildly irate then ecstasy” etc etc.
Can’t find much out there, ideally something using GPT-3 that’s open source and web accessible.
know of anything or something similar and care to share? (or just write your own suggestion below i guess)
