I’m using the arranger for the first time in a while and can’t figure out why the Halt row doesn’t stop the sequencer. Is there any reason for that? Anything to do with scenes?
It should. Are you sure the sequencer is running, or maybe you have looped samples ?
It mutes trigs, not audio, iirc.
It’s been a while since I’ve had an OT (regrets…) but is there a way to auto-halt the audio in the arranger like hitting stop twice?
Hitting stop twice cut samples and fx.
I don’t think you can have same behaviour with arranger.
Halt mutes trigs, (like arranger mutes), if I remember correctly
Do I need to set all tracks to Loop Off?
What’s the point if so? The audio is still playing if we don’t add a Halt row, no?
No, but you may have to change amp settings (Hold/Release) to stop audio.
Stop sequencer.
Is there any case where one would like to set a Halt row and still want the audio to go on?
Sure, letting a longer loop dissipate as the percussion (or whatever snappier envelopes) drops out.
The release of a looped single cycle waveform…
Yes seems obvious
I finally set the flex tracks playing the records on Loop Off and it’s doing the job. Somehow Halt was stopping all the other tracks but not these ones although every track was set on Loop On.
