I have sound locks assigned to various keys on the keyboard range. How can I assign an arpeggiator pattern to a sound that I mapped ?
I know I can trigger patterns, and that may be plan B but pattern don’t behave like arpeggiators in the sense that hitting multiple keys will only trigger different patterns instead of “running” up and down the different notes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated !
I think I found a solution. Not sure if it’s the easiest but here it is anyway…
-Create a Pattern ( say A10 )
-Assign Arpeggiators to whichever track you want ( say 1 and 4 )
-Do not enter any notes in the pattern. When you press play nothing should sound.
-Save pattern
-Create a multi map Entry.
-On the key range/Entry where you need an arpeggiator… select :
Int.trig, key range, track # that corresponds to pattern track ( here, 1 or 4 )
Sound slot to overide track sound if needed
To play arp, make sure the pattern ( A10 ) is selected, press the multi mode, press keys, you should here an arpeggiator where needed. Note that you don’t need to play pattern for this to work, it just needs to be selected.
Performance knobs seem to work in multi mode, so this is it.
