Arm One Shot Trig By Starting Pattern

Hey, guys. I consulted my manual for this one but couldn’t find if this was possible.

I have a drum loop that is longer than the 4 bars that my OT can play so I’m using a 1 shot trig and have the sample on loop, works great! The only problem is that when switching to that particular pattern the playback stops until I can arm the trig. Is there a way to set it up so that when I switch to the pattern, the trig is automatically armed?

Thanks, Rid.

Cant help with your specific question…but have you tried making the drumloop track a different timing signature? You can make the triggering track play half or quarter speed etc (as long as you have the tracks set to play independent lengths obvs)

It’s been a while but can’t you arm the trig by pressing yes before the pattern change happens?

Just hit [Function] + [Enter/Yes] to arm your one shots ?

If you don’t want to arm all your tracks select the track you want to arm and hit the record button before you press [Function] + [Enter/Yes] then you will arm the selected track.

If you have loops rolling (looped audio slices) from the previous pattern they will keep on going until you arm your next one-shot… A way to stop them is basically writing a step, and put the volume to 0 if you don’t want it to make sound…

I have whole my liveset built like this ;).

Kindly Regards
/H

I think you can also press [track]+STOP and it will stop the track playback.

Thanks for the help guys, yeah I guess I just need to remember to hold [Shift] + [yes] when changing to that pattern.

…no function key needed…

in normal mode, you just hit yes/enter once and all one shots are armed…

and yes, you better make this a common thing…always hitting enter here and there…
