I’ve been testing almost every VJing software on the market those last months, from free to uber expensive, and I can say Arkestra is the easiest way to get quick results. The number of filters and options is amazing. The ergonomics is good enough to skip the tutorial, which is pretty rare in this kind of software. Maybe it lacks a video mixer with the horizontal fader, and an overall view of the set like Resolume, just to stay in global control on one screen when playing on a second screen. Anyway, Arkestra brings a fresh approach to VJing and I’ll certainly buy it.
