I want to use my AR1 as master clock + stop/start for my keystep pro. I do not want to use the KSP keys to sequence the AR1 drums. I just want to setup a clock relationship with AR1 as master.
Having issues with this setup, and couldn’t find anything quite matching my problem in the forums or on google. Any advice would be much appreciated.
Setup on AR1
Clock send yes
Transport send yes
Prog ch send yes
Output 24 ppq
Midi cable out/synch A port
Setup on Keystep Pro
Clock source Clock
Clock input 24 ppq
Midi setting clock receive On
Midi setting transport receive Both MMC and Real Time
Midi cable from AR1 going to din adapter/clock in port of KSP
Problem being, while I can get the clock bpm rate from AR1 to affect the KSP bpm, other than that it’s not synching, in terms of stop/start.
Is this known issue and/or has anyone found a workaround?
