Well the Tanzbar is traditional and features control per voice all accessible at once.
AR sound is far more flexible and tweakable in the sequencer in far more interesting ways.
Both interesting and powerful machines but the AR is far more flexible and forward looking.

AikiGhost,
actualy i’m waiting for my AR from my local retailer ,since it was delayed from 30 april to 19 may,so i can cancel anytime.
saw your vids and others and look very intresting and yes the features of AR much more flexible but can’t really compare the sound quality to Tanzabar
Thanks for replay.
Owned a Tanzbär, now own an AR. I’d say the Tanzbär has a more “classic” sound and a more fixed voice architecture compared with the AR. I feel that especially the hats, cymbals, and toms on the AR sound more complex and interesting than on the Tanzbär.
The Tanzbär is probably a great choice if you’re looking for a good source of classic analogue drum sounds with a slightly modern twist (the stereo clap is especially cool), and if you have a lot of free channels on your audio interface of mixing desk.
The AR is probably a better choice if you want to create fat and deep analogue sounding beats using a single box only.
Both are great for on-the-fly tweaking and the Tanzbär does allow you to parameter-lock per sequencer step even though the sequencer is overall much more limited.
The Tanzbär also allows full MIDI control over all parameters which makes it a great candidate for integration with your DAW (assuming you have a lot of inputs on your audio interface…).
