Dear AR Pro Users,
is there a way to route all tracks in Ableton to record each channel but with the LFO to panning? If I route it… i will loose all panning. Or how you handle this problem?
Thank you for your help.

Pan doesn’t work in overbridge due to each channel being mono. Imo it would be easy for each channel to be stereo in the vst allowing pan, but unfortunately it doesn’t work like this.
Assigning LFO to pan therefore doesn’t work in overbridge and you’d need to put an lfo on the track itself in ableton
Thank you for your fast answer…
Unfortunately I guessed it.
I haven’t had AR for a long time. But think they are really super mega. The sound beats everything. But getting involved in my projects is not easy. Somehow I can’t find a solution that satisfies me.
I also like the organic sound I can get through the LFOs. But I’m afraid that I won’t have everything available as individual tracks. As I am used to so far. But in mono it doesn’t make sense to me.
Maybe I should record groups? And then arrange them?
Do you use the internal reverb and the compressor?
What do you mean? What is the best way to do this or what is your way?
Thank you for your help.
When using OB i tend to avoid relying on pan automation that can’t be achieved using abletons tools for the above reason tbh.
In terms of a setup
I split each audio track out into its own channel. Then have the master channel from RYTM only having the FX.
I haven’t factored in the compressor in my setup yet as its on the master so I don’t know how to get it doing what I want so I usually keep it at 100% dry.
Perhaps I can use the compressor as a final effect by sending my recordings through it at the very end as a sort of mastering effect?
Tbh its forced me to use the box standalone. And if I want to multitrack then I just work with the limitations.
One of the cool things I’ve been using OB for is the fact you can send audio from your daw through each of the analog tracks on the rytm. IE having 8 mono filters/overdrive.
This means you can have essentially unlimited mono sources going through a single track instead of just the single sample that the rytm itself allows! This is pretty awesome imo
