Hello I have an Issue with my incoming Pitchbend info.
Well I realized as I’ve read that there is no way of recording pitch bend. - ok
But somehow in my case the Pitch bend midis from my keyboards just don’t do nothing. All other stuff works so far. Sending Notes and CCs from the Keyboard encoders but the Pitchbend won’t just do a thing. Any suggestions what I might be doing wrong? Mostly I’m using a Novation Launchkey mini but I tried an M-Adio Axiom too.
I understood that playing samples and applying pitch bend on the digi live should be possible or am I off track there?

still can’t pb samples on dt though, right? I assume that’s what this person is trying to accomplish.

Yes exactly. I want to live pitch bend a sample on the digi with a midi keyboard.
I kinda get that you can’t record it. it doesn’t make to much sense I guess if you can only record in steps. Would be kinda jumpy. But I don’t get why you can’t play it.
I helped myself with assinging tuning to a poti on my keyboard with a +/- 3 limit. It’s not really as much fun as with a proper pitchbend but it was all I could think of.

What do you mean by that? I’m not sure I get it. What can you achieve by doing so and how do you merge them?
If you use a MIDI Merger device, you can send PB and MW to your Synths via the MIDI Tracks of the Digitakt.
Something like this :

Probably possible to do with a MIDI processor, such as the Blokas Midihub. Could transform pitch into the CC for the pitch parameter on the DT. Obviously not ideal that it’s not possible by default.

Seems that box can work as a merger too then to pass it to synth like Tchu suggested

Came up against this same issue last year. I was surprised it’s set up like this. Hope one day the passthrough gets sorted.
With a keystep you could remap the pb to cc 16 and repitch the source audio on a DT audio track.
