Anyone used Slooply? Thoughts?

Just came across Slooply and wondered if anyone here had experience with them. Couldn’t find an existing thread or even any messages about this platform.

Basically a sample service in the mould of Splice etc.

The link seems down…

I had the same problem, this should work

that’s because the hyperlink in the original post just goes to https://slooply instead of slooply.com lol…

I have never heard of this and I don’t know what the point is or if it even seems legit (website seems like a budget version of splice’s). what does it offer that splice doesn’t? more favorable payouts to sound designers? not sure what the point is or why anyone would use it over splice if that’s the kind of thing you’re looking for. less-commonly-used samples maybe?

I’ve been trying to use the last of my credits at splice and then cancel my subscription for an embarrassingly long time… I am not the target market for this service.

Indeed. Sorry, my bad. Thought I’d got the URL on my clipboard but was obviously just the site name. Good job I’m not, er, a software engineer…

Have you seen the new show? It’s on Tubu. It’s literally on Heebee. It’s on Poodee with ads. It’s literally on Dippy. You can probably find it on Weeno. Dude it’s on Gumpy. It’s a Pheebo original. It’s on Poob. You can watch it on Poob.

Honestly curious if anyone has ever heard of it or used it before this post. @mitya33 , where did you come across it? what prompted this post lol

Literally as the title says, to find out if anyone was using this. I’d not heard of it before and it came up when I searched for free sample packs. Looks decent enough, though has a few website issues.

100%. The “add -ly as a suffix to make it cute” thing got old about 100 years ago.
