Song doesn’t do anything for me. I really liked his earlier stuff on Running Back, but this is just generic and dull IMHO.

Hmm, I may take a crack at this with the Octatrack but that is some ugly wallpaper music. The first image it creates in my mind is wandering around a half-empty supermarket - they always seem to be playing lightweight pop music like this while I am trying to choose a new toothbrush or find the best deal of pasta sauce.
It’s pretty apparent why they want people to attempt remixing this song.
They should just post “Someone please help. We’ll give you all this stuff.” with a picture of an A&R guy on his knees in tears.

I would try but the beatport site itself seems dodgy.
They give you all their track predefined as full song tracks. they even give you a live layout. It is all in the horizontal format. you don’t fire sounds you play the tracks. Personally if you ask me to remix give me the melody and bassline as a MIDI track and vocals dry front man and back-up separate. Yeah I could work with what they can but I feel limited and directed…

some 15 yr old girls waving their skinny as fuck arms in the air beggin for attention in an overpriced night club to a half empty dancefloor filled with … aaah why would i bother ?
make this a marketing strategy for less than 2000 bucks and a lot of commotion … but a second AR would be okay …

Listening the original, no way for me. i see a kind of Chicken Lips, Metro Area or Kevin Yost direction remix should work, but i’m pretty sure something like that not won… hahaha… So no way X1000
