Any way to lock the echo freeze delay?

There’s a thread here on Elektronauts somewhere explaining using OT to sequence it’s own scenes and cross, but I couldn’t locate it.
This should work though

I tried this, and it works, but I get a lot of awful static sound when moving the crossfader. I don’t get that static with any other scenes. Any advice?

It can be a bit cheesy doing beat repeat without restraint, a couple of things I like to do:

Copy pattern that uses regular delay and use another part for the copy with freeze delay set and with different delay settings.

Don’t have feedback set at max for nice fade outs, works nice with shorter delay times and base and width softening the repeats by cutting the width and raising base.

Use pass set to on and the above with p-locks on delay time for nice controlled bursts of tape echo style repeats.

I found that arming one shot with freeze delay was more efficient than Delay CTRL mode.
That way freeze can be stopped right on time with a regular trig.
FILL TRC should work too.
