Bumping a few ‘London’ based threads today as I’d love to see who is out here making music.
I want to develop or join a local scene with the primary aim of doing gigs together, but if not, then just making friends and finding likeminded producers to share music with.
I’m based in West London (Richmond/Twickenham), and regularly travel into central.

Over the course of the next day, weeks, months, each thread might take off or drift. Each thread might end up in a different conversation but then someone from that chat might dig a little deeper and then see my message.
One was about west London, one was just about London in general, both can feel like different cities.
I’m not certain how it has affected your day either?
If you’re a mod then I’m happy to take your advice.
Highly recommend Synth club for a place to meet. You can turn up with (or without) your gear a do a performance also -

Looking somewhat far ahead to May 2026, I’d certainly be up for collaborating on some sort of London Elektronauts Drone Day coming together.

it would be cool to organise monthly or quarterly event in public venues where people can perform live with whatever gear they have - connect with others, exchange ideas and chat about music - a no profit event, just for fun…
it does not need to be necessarily a night event, just a community thing,
I’m in SE London and I’d happily meet for a social in central London. Quite frankly, I could do with getting out a bit more.
SE25 here. So south it’s basically Croydon. I work central-ish a few days of the week. I’d also like a bit more community vibe. I think it’s me being a hermit rather than there being a lack of opportunities.
I’ve been to a handful of the Factory Setting/Synth Shed events which run in and around Croydon/SE. They’re great! I’ve not been enough to make friends yet. I’m in a musical lull at the moment, but have a general aspiration to play an EMOM eventually.

Anything north of here is basically Scotland
