I’ve seen quite a few people reporting that they couldn’t record their Digitone/Digitakt with Android.
I would like people to post reports here that includes the following:
- Elektron device
- Software version
- Phone brand and model
- Android version
- App used for testing
- Can record?
- Can playback?
- Picture of OTG adapter

I used a Type-C OTG adapter from a Samsung Galaxy S10 + the included Elektron USB cable for my OnePlus.
I used a Micro-B OTG adapter from a Samsung Galaxy S7 + the included Elektron USB cable for my Galaxy J5 (2016)
I also used a Type-C to Type-B cable with my OnePlus 6.

In simpler terms, I can record my Digitone running the latest (1.32) software on my Android devices but I can only record my Digitakt on a very old Android version.
I remember not being able to record my Digitone before the 1.32 update came out so maybe something changed with the USB implementation.
I am hoping that with this post, we can find out whether this is an isolated issue or if it is affecting a larger number of people.
Also, if you happen to have a Digitone that is still running an older software, please try to do some test and repeat the test after the update.
My speculation is that the 1.32 fixed the USB recording/playback for Android and I am wondering if the same fix would work for the Digitakt as well.
