Analog Rytm quick guide

Can I ask a question?

I’ve been following this guide but somehow some of the parameter locks I’ve been saving aren’t being saved when I bring a pattern back later. Is there a specific order you have to save in order to have things be completely saved?

As a new Rytm user, this is going to come in really handy. Thanks for putting it together! :joy:

Hi

unfortunately the Files section of the forum is not working right now (maybe related to the spam that has occurred recently?).

I have produced a couple of documents designed to help others learning the Rytm (and Octatrack):

A graphical guide to key Analog Rytm Concepts:

(For printing the design assumes A4 paper)

Sheets for taking notes, e.g to learn from Presets and Sample Packs for the Analog Rytm:

Creating sample chains for the Analog Rytm and Octatrack:

And in case you also have the Octatrack:

Have fun!

oh, wow. just found a lot of shortcuts I didn’t know! thank you.

Thanks for the positive feedback! I now maintain news about these documents in a separate thread:

http://www.elektronauts.com/t/how-to-guide-reference-cheat-sheet-tips-tricks/15095

I have updated the files today, with a document that merges several previous ones, with uniform formatting, hyperlinks and added material.

Happy music making!

Is there a way to select a Track just by pressing its pad?
i have always to hold down track and then push the pad. Any possibilities to change these setting? i tought i’ve seen cenk doin it in a youtube video?

I suppose you want to avoid the TRACK+PAD, and just have one click? I don’t know of any other way.

Just noticed that in this thread I have not made a comment about the new document with my notes. I no longer maintain all of the documents above in separate files but have merged those things together in THIS DOCUMENT.

The thread with updates etc can be found HERE.

This would be awesome! The track button is a flow killer in my opinion…

Yes thats what i want to do. Cause it sucks the flow while i am performing. On my TR-8 i just hit the instrument Button and i am in the place i want to be. Holding down Track and then Hit a Pad is not that best performance orientated Solution :-/

Yes… i agree with you.

Anyone have these available online? Looks like the Dropbox links are dead.
