Analog rytm mki pan issue

Hi.
I have a problem. My mixer is down so i connected my Rytm to DT thru audio input left and right but as I adjust PAN on Rytm it does not work. Nothing is changing, everything is centered on monitors no matter what I do.

Do you guys have a idea what might cause that?
Thanks.

Did you adjust the Inā€˜s in the DT as well?
You need to pan in it hard left/ right.

Why not run DT through AR?

where can i do that? honestly, I have no idea where to do that.

dunno. can you tell me pros of connecting DT through AR? what is the difference?

For one, my brief experience was the same as this fella:

Second, AR allows you to process its external input through its onboard analog compressor (which also affords some interesting exploits when engaging bias and cranking the compressor output level)

You hit FUNC+LFO and there’s the master page. Encoders C and D are for panning. As said, pan hard left and hard right.

there is no panning options when i hit FUNC+LFO, it opens a mixer page or a compressor page but I see no options of panning whatsoever. what do i do wrong?

AR has analog goodness in its master compressor and overdrive. They sound so good and glue everything together.

I think @gu-y-1 was talking about the Digitakt. It even says ā€œMasterā€ beneath the [LFO] button.

I’ve read people on here complain about the Elektron UI/UX. I agree that some of the OT is obtuse, but they also do some nice work sometimes. The orange text matching the orange [FUNC] button on the DT is a great touch.

yea but the orange MASTER page doesn’t give me access to any PAN options, only compressor and mixer pages are under this button.

I checked the manual. You’re right. There’s no pan controls there!

Ok… I’m not helping. Sorry!

I’m really sorry, my fault, I got confused. I just read that you got your AR connected to the DT. And by reading DT I had ā€œDigiToneā€ in mind. And when you press ā€œFUNC + LFOā€ on the Digitone, there’s panning routed to mentioned encoders. :frowning:
