Analog Rytm Mk2 questions

Hello Elektronauts,

I am considering buying an Analog Rytm MK|| in a few days and I am wondering if it supports Overbridge and Dual VCO at the same time?
Also will I be able to use it almost like Analog Heat in order to feed Analog Distortion to Digitakt & Digitone?

Thanks for your answers!

Hey, yes, can answer that first one, am currently recording dual VCO basslines over Overbridge along with the drums.

I believe the answer to your second question is “yes” but I’ve only had my AR 4 or 5 days so I haven’t managed to wire this up yet. But I’ll try today…

Yes you can use the overbridge with the Dual VCO,
I’m not sure about the analog distortion though I haven’t tried that.

The External Inputs can be effected by the bias part of the Distortion iirc, but not the Distortion, it does feed the Compressor, but you’ll need a decent level coming in. So the signal can be distorted, but not by the bulk of the distortion circuit

Okay it’s called Symmetry in the manual

SYM (Distortion Symmetry) offsets the whole signal (in the y
direction, if visualized as a wave cycle on a 2D graph) either up
(positive values) or down (negative values) before applying distortion. This makes asymmetric distortion of the signal possible,
fringing only the crests or the troughs of the wave. Range (-64-
+63).

Oh darn I thought it hit distortion too.

Is that the same over OB?
