Analog RYTM mk2... little insight to sampling

Forgive me if this is an easy thing to do/understand or has already been covered. I cant seem to find it.

I have an idea… and it’s bugging me I cant find the answer.

Is it possible to sample a 2 minute long drone from my modular in to the AR MK2? My idea is to do things like this and just assign one channel i’m not using to all my drone like samples? What is the maximum length of a sample allowed in the AR? Are samples tempo synced too? For example… Say I record the sample in to the AR at 135bpm (sequenced from another sequencer) then save the sample and change the tempo on the AR. Would the sample then move with the AR tempo or would things become a little messy?

If possible, could I then add the reverb, delay or compressor from the AR to these samples?

Apologies for the masses of questions. :zipper_mouth_face: :stuck_out_tongue:

If anyone can chime in i’d love it. Cheers

But you can sample on your computer and load the sample within AR.

 now i feel stupid.

So, the sample can be longer once loaded from the computer? What is the maximum there, do you know?

Wondering while at work … after the new update:

Can we now sample external sources while sequenced from the Rytm?

I don’t believe so, I overcome the limitation by pitching samples up an octave or two in Live then sending to Rytm and pitching back down.
