Analog Rytm - LFO keeps playing after track mute

Hi guys

I have a LFO affecting Sy Raw tune which is awesome but if I mute that track the LFO keeps going and actually sounds terrible as goes high and wonky. I tried adding Pre/NEI trigless trigs with zeroed volume and LFO values to see if muting the track would activate them (Nope) …only muting the track via scenes works. So I need to be SUPER careful not to accidentally mute the LFO track or it will ruin my performance with the wonky LFO behaviour. Any ideas welcome on how to manage this type of issue without scenes.
Thanks!

this all sounds expected, the track mutes and the synth carries on due to its long envelope, with the LFO carrying on its modulation beyond your programmed sequence.

depending on the sy-chips sequence and individual note lengths within it i’d explore the length of hold, decay in the envelope so it shortens the notes after muting. (you can plock the envelope within the sequence to maintain its existing shape.
there’s also the one and half settings in the LFO.
but it’s hard to comment with the limited details of how the track is programmed and setup.

You could use a scene to lock the lfo to zero. Mute track and hit the scene.

Or you shorten the amp hold and decay so that the sound quickly fades out after you muted the track. AR mutes the sequencer, not like for instance like on the OT which mutes the audio, so muting a track only prevents the sequencer from firing a new trig. If you have a very long note length and long amp hold/decay, sound can go on for a while after its track is muted.

On the Rytm, the mutes stop the MIDI (or equivalent) from the sequencer from triggering the Machines. They’re not audio mutes.
