Analog Rytm HH voice not working anymore

Hi wise and nice people from elektronauts. This forum has always been so helpful yet I never took the time to create an account. And I feel sorry that my first post is for asking help but I’m sad and desperate and hope you will be lenient with me.

So I had the rytm mk2 for almost a year and I think I understand the basics quite well. Recently I got myself an octatrack mk2 and wanted to concentrate on it fully. Thats why I decided to put my rytm back into it’s box so I would use the octatrack only for everything. After a while I wanted to use my rytm again, using the octatrack as the MIDI master. For that, I’m using a midi dispatch from erica synths. I wanted to create some sort of template for the rytm too as I did for the octatrack so that I would not have to change midi parameters etc every new project. So I started messing up with the parameters on the rytm. After that setup I realized that the two hihat tracks weren’t working anymore. I don’t know if it’s related but apart from that I had done nothing different that I could think of.

Here’s what I tried already :

-using it via overbridge without anything plugged in or using it via the audio outputs whether main or individual. Even via the headphone output

  • reinstalling 1.72 os
  • downgrading back to 1.70
  • factory reset
  • empty reset
  • I ran the test mode which came back with 0 errors
  • I tried using samples instead of synth engines but still no sound, even when I try to preview them in the sample folders when I’m on these specific tracks (9 and 10) but if I switch tracks it works
  • using the impulse or noise machines won’t produce sound either when put on tracks 9 and 10
  • I tried switching the psu3c with another psu 3c
  • Then I finally tried the calibration thing and it said “failed hh to hh” since then it keeps asking me to calibrate but always fails.

I don’t know why it would stop working like this I feel like the machine needs a proper reset or a restore point because it didn’t suffer any misuse but the os upgrades or factory resets don’t seem to do the trick.

I contacted the elektron support on monday but since it’s holidays and all that I am not sure I will have any nail left to bite before they answer

Thank you for reading me

I would say that you have try everything.
Sometimes there is just no more to do and waiting for your support ticket to be process by Elektron. And here it look to be a hardware issue.
