Since this has happened to two machines, there’s a small chance that it’s corruption in the transfer. Here’s the settings I’ve been using when exporting from the DAW:
16bit/48kHz PCM
if in doubt about the sample format, you can use FFMPEG to transcode whatever they are into the format above so the machine may skip further transcoding steps.
Then this from the sample packs:
“In the c6 Configuration menu, select Elektron Analog Rytm for both MIDI In and MIDI Out. Also, make sure you tick
all the boxes for the Sample Settings: Use SDS Handshake, Use Extended SDS and Send SPS-1UW Name. This will allow the transferred samples to be shown with their descriptive names, once received, in the Analog Rytm.”
Alternatively you could grab sdsdrop from the app store and just leave C6 out of the process. It might be some weird MIDI/USB issue too.
