Analog Rytm availability

I buy Analog Four (in Stock and Reserved) + Analog Rytm (April the 22 is expected by Musicstore but i prefer to doubt about this delivery date) + OctaTrack (May The 5th there’s out of stock on the OctaTrack)

So i will come back here on 22 when i have MusicStore.de

Five days to go…!

Dear Analog Rytm prospect,

This is a mail to inform you that the Analog Rytm will become available for purchase 3 pm C.E.T. Tuesday April 22.

The Analog Rytm will be sold on a first come, first served basis. The demand is expected to be very high, so please note initial orders might take a few days extra to process and ship.

Analog Rytm can be purchased in the Elektron Online Shop:

We hope you will enjoy our latest machine!

All the best,

The Elektron Team

Excitement building!

Sweet!

Looks like Sweetwater is expecting them by the 22nd as well for the pre-orders.

Oh credit cards how I love thee.

If anybody needs a hostel for a bit so they can get one, HoLLa!

sweetwater is still telling me May…guess we will see

Musicstore changed the date on my order to May 22…

i put a deposit on one in my local store in the UK and they dont even know when they are getting them - they say Elektron never tell them when they will arrive. They just arrive…

I know its to build excitement but it makes buying one a bad experience. Do I wait for my local store or buy on the release date from the website.

gotta say though.

Love the sound and the workflow of the sequencers of Elektrons gear.

Did someone say hardware was dead because of soft synths? Only if the soft synths come with a DSP dedicated input - and then guess what? Its hardware!

While waiting I’m enjoying my “in between purchase” the TR-8 and the infamous OT. Just some noodling on these two creative machines. I must admit I was a bit sceptic, but this TR-8 does sound solid. I messed the levels up Final Cut and the jam also didn’t go according to plan. I didn’t bother to fix it so this is just an impression.

Enjoy!

I pre-ordered from guitarguitar here in the UK on the 16th. The chap told me it would with them in about 10 days, so fingers crossed I’ll have it by next weekend. Sold my Machinedrum because of how big the drums on the A4 sounded - hoping the RYTM will be another level

Just ordered the AR from Nova Musik here the U.S. The guy said Im on very short list of preorder. Super stoked!!!

I wouldn’t be too stoked man…just heard Nova Musik went out of business. KIDDING! :joy:

LMAO ya i heard rumors. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

sweetwater doesn’t even have it listed anymore. at least not that i can find.

I don’t think they ever did have it on the website.

I never saw it listed. I actually asked about it when it was announced and they said I could pre-order even though it wasn’t listed yet…I went ahead and pre-ordered of course…

apparently, I’m on the short list and should get one out of the first batch they get…no idea when that will be though

what I understand about Sweatwater is that they only list when there is a response from the company as to a planned delivery date. my rep never will give a pre-order prior to the companies go.

I actually thought I was too late and it was a very frustrating ordeal but after 42 minutes I finally achieved order success.

I started at 1500C.E.T. sharp…had my customer details already and went to the store after logging in. I kept getting address denials from the site and host. I went outside and tried mobile (no luck), then kept at it. I finally got in, got the item in my cart but went to check-out and experienced a nagging issue (bug?) with the check-out page showing my cart as empty - “no contents”. I could look on the cart icon and see the item in my cart but a bug occurred. I pulled out my hair on this for nearly 20 minutes until I tried a workaround tricking the cart by adding another AR then deleting the older one after advancing to the next page. It worked.

Whew…frustrating.

Now, I have to take myself off the Sweetwater and WestEndProduction list (ex-Pat living in the UK)…then again, it might be best to decline when asked because we might actually piss off the resellers. Yeah, I’ll do that instead so that someone else can be bumped up.

Best excuse: “Sorry, I can’t afford it right now”
Bad excuse: “No thanks, got it!”

BTW, I have to point out that the UK exchange rate and VAT is depressing.

The UK price of £1,249GBP is actually $2,101USD. The price is lower in the states because they can sell more than there without taxes which are not included but the US price is actually $1,549USD and that saves $552USD or roughly £328GBPs. I know it’s not Elektron’s fault, but the amount of VAT in UK has to deter sales accross the UK market.
