I tried to upgrade the OS, but it just hangs every time I try. The progress bar displays up to just about where the R in word Receiving is on the Rytm’s display and never changes.
How do you proceed?
Last time for me it worked normally with C6 and USB, with AR recognised as midi device.

Is it actually the right firmware for your machine version/type. Is the device in USB (non OB mode) and keep in mind Catalina island not supported and so on
Which method of preparing for Rx do you try
I had a similar (same?) issue on my A4 updating from 1.40 to 1.40A: C6 would just not start sending (I never had this before). Used sysex librarian then and it would send / update without issues.

I read the instructions, but it didn’t mention that it wouldn’t install in Overbridge mode. My Mac is running OS 10.13.6 and have to use Transfer since I’ve never been able to get the C6 app to do anything. I’ll put the Rytm on USB mode and try it again.
