Analog keys multimode, a bit lost here?

2 days into my analog keys - all wow wow, best synth on the market
midied to machinedrum and monomachine
new world with the monomachine - functions like a monomachine keys!

one thing though - multimap doesn’t make an sense to me
I would have thought you could multimap 1 sound per key simply by using the sound browser and pressing function and hold a key to assign to one key and be done with it

is there anyway to do this ?

Thanks elektron heads
some advice on multimap ping would be helpful as I just can’t get my head around it

anyone happy to help here?
seriously lost with this one

That would be convenient. As far as I know, you can’t do that.

To assign sounds, first you have to put all the sounds you need in the sound pool ( you have 128 sounds per project ). Then in multi map mode, you go to [sound slot] and enter a number from 1-128, keep [sound inc] at 0. Note is what note it starts with, you can use this as a transpose function. [Note Inc] stays at 1 for a chromatic key range

thanks for that I have got it now
if someone else whom is stuck is reading this the sound pool is simply 128 sounds which can simply be used across the keys in multi mode - the a4 will auto map them

the sound pool is only 128 sounds which you copy over from the plus drive
it’s a silly way of setting up things, usual WTF kits/sample/sounds management system

on each track you can assign any sound from the plus drive

in multi mode you are limited to 128 sounds so just copy like your fav 40 drum sounds, 40 bass and 40 pads from the plus drive and into the sound pool

hair pulling experience !!!

Hi all would cuckoo be willing to do a video tutorial on this, the manual is very inadequate in explaining this?
Cheers
