My Analog Keys accidentally fell down from the stand during a rehearsal. The bottom part of some keys broken but anyway the keybed still works as well as the synth except aftertouch which is not recognized at all since then though I’m still able to press keys like before. Do you have ideas what to do? Thanks in advance.
Well, the first thing that comes to mind is to contact elektron and schedule a service appointment, but if you want to try and deal with it on your own I’d start by running the test mode / error test and see if it comes up with any codes. If it does, then you should write them down.
If you don’t see any error codes then you’ll probably need to (at a minimum) open it up, inspect the cable connections, and even if they look fine I’d probably unplug and reseat them.
Something internally may be broken and it may not be immediately visible, so there may be limits to what you can do on your own. Elektron gear is pretty tough though. Maybe it will be an easy fix.
Good luck
There is one flat cable coming from the keybed that goes to a small connector where the joystick is, maybe that came off. Could be an easy fix. If you take the bottom screws out and really carefully open the bottom you can already see it. I believe there are some images here…
