I have seen videos and stuff about how to do compression with the l analog heat , but I would like to know how you use it, I have achieved it with the saturation circuit subtly
And how use to gear master!
People normally achieve a form of compression using the AH envelope follower modulating wet level or drive, I think. I recommend watching the video by @DaveMech about this. He has also shared a preset with the settings.

I also like setting the EQ HIGH as a second modulation destination for the envelope follower. Always using a low pass filter on the envelope follower input. Makes the highs duck when lows hit.

I am thinking of buying a second HEAT for mastering. I could use the 2 notch filters. Must have for finalizing.
