Two more tweaks I’d love to have for live performance use:
· a button combo to latch the flow button and keep the module “mix” view on
· a matrix to change the destination for each of those hold-flow-view controls

I’ve received the ah+fx yesterday and I’m happy with it. Probably because I’ve bought it like it is and not for what it could be.
Though, while discovering it, I’ve been thinking about features it could benefit from.
- a better way of preview or reaching the presets. The process of touching two buttons at once, scrolling, loading and then listening takes a lot of steps while there are a huge number of presets.
- Having free, assignable empty slots with any effect you want from the available list. For example, being able to use a chain of 4 delays would be great.
- If new effects could be added, I think of a better reverb, or modulated reverb, resonators, frequency bode shifter, phasers…
- Some ctrl all, at least for the dry/wet mix.

It seems like there is some resistance to easy preset switching - even in the Overbridge app, there are no prev / next preset buttons.
I guess it’s to minimize the chances of accidental preset changes resulting in blown out speakers and eardrums. Although I don’t see the risks being reduced much with current system.
I am currently batch editing presets to map one CV input as negative preset volume modulation and using expression slider as a safety to reduce / kill the sound if necessary.
The great thing about EXPRESSION / CV modulation is that it is constant and immediate - I can keep the slider at -80 and scroll through the presets - the preset volume subtraction is applied IMMEDIATELY on the preset load!
Then I will try remote MIDI program change from external controller.

I think that it would be great to have:
- A SIMPLE sequencer as a mod source, this just feels like a random LFO but with each of the steps configurable and repeated. Bonus points for generating a random sequence on select.
- A note event triggered fancy envelope.
- I agree about more digital effects being included. I don’t think that we need MORE effects blocks accessible at one time, just the option to change them. In fact, if there are constraints on the hardware then the available blocks could be grouped like the drum voices are on the Analog Rytm.
- Pitch shifter or bode shifter
- Some additional digital filters (formant, etc) like the new ASM synth.
- A granular effect (a la Eventide Harmoniser) would be spectacular.
- “Algorithms” for the flow page (to run effects in parallel).
- This is maybe impossible, I would guess that there are no spare AD/DA channels kicking around in the machine, but it would be AMAZING if the “heat” was a separate block from the filter/eq. I find I want to warm my signal up at the start of the chain but then still want the filter at the end to do DJ style sweeps.

I would be supremely grateful for the analog heat boxes to become able to manage a stereo signal coming in from other Elektron boxes via direct USB link. The idea being to make it possible for any “Outbox 8” enabled device in the Elektron ecosystem to send a stereo signal of any number of tracks from a synth/sampler into an Analog heat box. I was happy to pay for heat mkII and heat +FX, which I love (both), but having to spend an extra 600 euros on 2 Outboxes to be able to sort the tracks from Syntakt or Digitone II that I want affected by the effect units is starting to be a bit much. Please @Elektron !
